THE PLAYERS... After stealing a high-tech Batman suit to avenge his father’s death, teenager Terry McGinnis joined forces with former Batman Bruce Wayne to continue fighting crime in the futuristic Gotham City.
After teenager May Parker uncovered the shocking truth: that
her father was Spider-Man and she’d inherited his powers, she donned an old costume, and proved that with great power comes great responsibility.
THE BATTLE.... Out on a nightly swing above the seedy streets of Manhattan, Spider-Girl suddenly tenses. Something’s watching her. With her spider-sense going wild, she lashes out at a brick wall! Letting out a huge groan, Terry turns off the Batsuit’s “stealth mode” to conserve energy, and shoots himself around the corner. With a quick webline at Bats’ feet, Spider-Girl yanks him to the ground and smacks him upside his head. With his communications system busted, Terry’s cut off from his mentor Bruce. Knowing he may be outmatched, Terry remembers Bruce’s lesson on using an enemy’s attacks against them. He slices the webbing off his feet, grabs the webline and jerks Spider-Girl straight to his waiting fists. With a few timed smoke bombs, flashbulbs and Batarangs, Terry “confuses” Spider-Girl’s spider-sense long enough to unleash a relentless assault. Not letting up for a second, Terry knocks May unconscious, before falling to the floor and waiting for his breath to return…and a ride to pick him up.
