No more "Star Wars" films for Natalie Portman

That's alright, Natalie, I hope you move on to bigger and better roles. Those three Star Wars prequels destroyed whatever cred you had as an actor, and it certainly wasn't your fault...crappy dialogue, even when delivered brilliantly, is still crappy dialogue. Man did you look smoking hot in some of those outfits though!

And please...NO MORE Star Wars movies. Unless they're GOOD ones. And keep Lucas away from writing them.

Actress Natalie Portman plans to leave sniper rifles and lightsabers behind, as the star says she’s done with sequels to “The Professional” and “Star Wars.”

“When something works you don’t touch it,” Portman explained to MTV.com. “You try to create something new that’s positive.”

While the actress can credit “The Professional” for her acting debut, she’d rather have memories than a role in a sequel. “I really love that film,” she added. “And I would work with [director] Luc Besson again, in a second, but [not on a sequel].”

Similarly with “Star Wars,” Portman notes her time dedication to the film and is assured that the franchise can continue without her.

“I’m so honored to have been a part of [the ‘Star Wars’ prequels],” Portman beamed. “I got to basically latch on to this thing, that was a huge success before I was ever involved.”
“I spent 10 years working on these films,” she insisted. “It’s time to let it continue on its own.”
