Nic Cage wants Spidey/Ghost Rider crossover?

Wow, what a great idea. Combine two completely movie franchises into a single movie just for the fans! And it'd work too...for other characters that work in similar neighbourhoods or have some common link, like the FF and Spidey (both based out of New York), Iron Man and the FF (Stark and Reed are both geniuses) or even Daredevil and The Punisher (both are urban vigilantes). But even though Ghost Rider IS technically based in New York City, I fail to see how both he and Spidey could team-up.

Anyway, here's the Wizard Universe article:

“I would love to have Ghost Rider drive onto a ‘Spider-Man’ set; that would be fun,” teased Cage to MTV.com while promoting his latest flick “National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets.” And while no two Marvel stars have yet to meet on the big screen, signing up the stars may be step one to a Marvel movie universe.
