Didn't know they were coming out with an Evangelion 1.0 movie...I'm not sure if that's the live action one they've talked about for a while, or an anime version. Whichever it is, I'm sure to go watch it...or get it on DVD if it's just a Japanese release.
These are two sculptures released in time for the movie, and a third that Wizard just posted up just 'cause!
TOY OF THE DAY: NEON GENESIS EVANGELION
The first Evangelion 1.0 movie, You Are (Not) Alone, features the same story as the original anime series but with all-new, high-quality animation.

Hahaha...a pantless Rei! Doesn't seem as kinky as it sounds though, with her wearing what seems to be black undies. Don't most Japanese women wear white ones? :pBY: Kotobukiya/Yamato Toys USA
RELEASE DATE: January/February 2008
The first Evangelion 1.0 movie, You Are (Not) Alone, features the same story as the original anime series but with all-new, high-quality animation. Kotobukiya is celebrating NGE 1.0 with this angelic 8-inch PVC statue of Rei, sculpted by Tsukuru Shirahige and due out in February. Of course, if you prefer a less-than-angelic Rei, you can pick up a pantsless 10-inch version from Yamato’s Creator’s Labo series in January, sculpted by Mitsumasa Yoshizawa. (Yoshizawa also sculpted Final Fight’s Poison for Yamato’s Capcom Figure Collection—so we’ll just show her, too, shall we?)
